![]() Occasionally during heavy traffic, I still get some degradation and can't seem to get BWM to ensure VoIP is ALWAYS getting the bandwidth I need. The one area I've struggled a bit with is QoS. Works great and despite having an open hole in the firewall, it's very narrow. WAN->VoIP_VLAN from VoIP_Nets->VoIP_Phones for VoIP_ServicesÄisabled ALG, no NAT routes needed. The VOIP Remote subnets (in a group), The services (UDP ports x-y), the VOIP address pool (may not be needed since router access is by default excluded) and setup firewall rules with very tight source/destination settings. I always put VoIP on a VLAN (though softphones mean there has to be SOME allowance on the main LAN). ![]() Instead, they offer known subnets their servers are on, which allowed for some firewall tweaks. I have a number of clients on RingCentral and their VoIP is a little different (they prefer port triggering, which isn't something high end routers support).
